Mount Meru is usually scaled in 3 days / 2 nights, but since descending from summit takes about 7 hours, some climbers opt for an extra night at Miriakamba Hut which will make it a 4-day / 3 nights climb. Overnight accommodation is in alpine huts on your way up and down.

It involves parks and trekking in the parks of north-eastern parts of the country.It involves a trekking at Usambara Mountains,Mkomazi,Saadani and mikumi national park.

 

Day 1: Usambara Mountains
It involves a transfer from your location to usambara and have a day trekkin the forest and Dinner and overnight in Muller’s Mountain Lodge.

 

Day 2: A Forest Walk/Bike Safari
After breakfast afull day exploration in the forest that is full of different species of birds and plants.Lunch in the forest side. Dinner in Mullers Lodge.

 

Day 3: Mkomazi
After breakfast transfer to Mkomzi Park,game drive enroute lunch in the picnic site.
Dinner in Babu Camp.

 

Day 4: Mkomazi-Pangani
After breakfast transfer to Pangani beach for overnight in Emayani Beach Lodge.

 

Day 5: Saadani
After breakfast trasfer to Saadani National Park for a full day game drive,lunch at the picnic site.
Dinner and overnight at Saadani Safari Lodge.

 

Day 6 : Mikumi
Early morning after breakfast,a morning game drive while enroute to Mikumi National Park for a half day game drive,lunch in the picnic site.
Dinner and overnight in Vuma Hill Tented lodge or similar lodge.

 

Day 7 : Mikumi
A full day game drive in Mikumi and overnight in Vuma Hill Tented Lodge or similar lodge.

 

Day 8 : Ruaha National Park.
Departing from mikumi National Park for a half day game drive,lunch in the picnic site/Ruaha lodge and dinner and overnight in Ruaha river lodge or similar lodge.

 

Day 9: Ruaha National Park
A full day game drive after breakfast,lunch in the picnic site and Dinner and overnight in Ruaha River Lodge or similar lodge.

 

Day 10 :Transfer to Dar es Salaam / Zanzibar / Arusha
