- NGORONGORO HIGHLAND WALKING -

Day 1:Arusha-Ngorongoro Crater
After the breakfast in the morning,your guide will drive you to Ngorongor for a full day game drive.This is an area mostly termed the Eden because of its richness in wildlife.A full day game drive in the crater floor will assure you a view to the big five and spend a lunch time along the river with hippos and ascend in the evening for dinner and overnight in Olmoti Campsite.

 

Day 2:Olmoti Crater-Bulati
Soon after breakfast,your walking through the villages starts. While guided with animal rangers and maasai experts,you will have a view to abundant wildlife grazing along side maasai herders. Lunch in the bush and dinner and overnight in Bulati Campsite.

 

Day 3:Bulati-Empakaai Crater
After breakfast Depart from Bulati to Empakaai campsite and immediately after lunch walk down the crater floor for a half day walk.Empakaai is the small crater similar to Ngorongoro Crater with a lake inside but rich with different species of birds that makes it different to ngorongoro crater and overnight at the rim of the crater.

 

Day 4.: Empakaai-Acacia Campsite.
After sunrise in the crater rim,a walk to criss-cross the wild north starts enroute to Acacia campsite.Lunch will be served in the wild and dinner and overnight in Acacia campsite.

 

Day 5: .Acacia Camp-Lake Natron
This is another day of exploration in ngorongoro highland that connects it to the rift valley as its an area thought to hold the most active volcano and the active moving plate as the Eastern Plate moving away from African Plate in Plate Tectonic and continental Plate Theory Lunch in the wild and overnight in a maasai boma.

 

Day 6: Lake Natron-Oldonyo Lengai.
After early morning breakfast,your guide will lead you for a view of flamingos feeding in the lake side while viewing sunrise and walk back to the camp for a lunch and rest waiting for an evening to climb the most active volcanic mountain in the world.

 

Day 7: Oldonyo Lengai-Arusha
Descend in early in the morning after your climb and viewing sunrise and rest in the camp and transfer to Arusha after lunch.
